Things to do in Chicago

2 April 2010 No Comment

There are loads of things to do in Chicago. You could either go for the Along the Magnificent Mile Tour, which is a day-long tour of seeing, shopping and eating in this amazing city, or you could take the Loop Art Tour which is a specialized tour that walks you through the various art and culture forms within the city. Or, you could simply plan out an itinerary of your own.

No one can have a tour of Chicago if they miss out on the Lincoln Park, which is the city’s premier touring destination. The park attracts people from all walks of life who are looking for a good time. The Lincoln Park Zoo is quite nearby and that is another place which is a must visit. After a day long trip in the Lincoln Park, most people like to head out to one of the two most popular cities of Chicago, which are Steppenwolf and the Second City. The variety of theatres in Chicago are quite accessible from the Lincoln Park.

Chicago is known as a shoppers’ paradise. You could check out the various shopping centers dotting the area in the Lincoln Square, or you could head out to Wicker Park or Bucktown for a shopping experience as you have never had before.

Eating is another thing you should do in Chicago; this is not a city to watch out for calories. You must definitely have Chicago’s unique deep dish pizza, though most of you would not want to have anything else for the whole day after that! The Loop has some good eating places such as the Bella Bacino’s where you could indulge in this sinful food.
