RendezVous Bistro Roosts in Lincoln Square

14 April 2010 2 Comments

A textbook-traditional bistro menu and BYO with no corkage combine at RendezVous Bistro, a cozy, moderately priced rendezvous housed in an unassuming Lincoln Square storefront; the comfortable room features blue banquettes, walls decorated with French advertising posters, vintage-inspired chandeliers and rooster knickknacks.

I had my second meal at the Rendezvous last night and I know I will be a regular customer. The food was wonderful, service was great and the atmosphere is that of an authentic French bistro. Last night I had the poulet and the first time I was there I had the steak. I highly recommend both and I will be trying the other entres with each visit. I also like the fact that i can bring my own wine and not be charged a corkage fee. The first two times I parked on the street which was not a problem but now that I know there is a lot in the back I will avoid the city meters on the street!
