Fans of the Food Network’s Next Iron Chef competition should be getting excited. As Eater noted, the lineup for season three has been posted online and it’s an impressive roster, boasting Andrew Kirshner (LA’s Wilshire), Bryan Caswell (Houston’s Reef), Celina Tio (Kansas City’s Julian), Duskie Estes (Bay Areas’s Bovolo), Maneet Chauhan (NY’s At Vermillion), Marc Forgione (NY’s Marc Forgione), Marco Canora (NY’s Hearth), Mario Pagan (Puerto Rico’s Chayste), Mary Dumont (Boston’s Harvest) and Ming Tsai (Boston’s Blue Ginger). Alton Brown will still be hosting, while U.K. food writer Simon Majumdar, season one winner Michael Symon and Donatella Arpaia will do the judging. The chopping starts on October 3 at 9 PM. If you wanted to put a bet on the winner based on highest Zagat rating, you’d want to go with Caswell or Tsai, both of whom have Food scores of 26 (just keep in mind that ratings vary by city).
